The hermitage on the island of A Toxa, covered with scallop shells, attracts our attention in the centre of the island. Its interior is modest and has a certain seafaring air. Dedicated to San Caralampio and the Virgin of Carmen, it has been worshipped since the 12th century and is one of the most unique in Galicia.
